Jamie Swaner is a General Partner of Epic the Salon in Encino, Ca. Celebrating her 18th year in the beauty industry, she has enjoyed ownership of Epic for the past 12. For two years at the beginning of her career, she managed Lenny Salon. For the following 4 years she managed the financially failing James Laurence Salon until in 1994 she and her husband and business partner, Jeff, seized the opportunity to purchase and transform the salon into their thriving business recognized today as Epic the Salon, a business that continues to grow and serve as an influential business model for salons worldwide. As a proactive leader, she is particularly astute in the areas of salon management, team-building and communication skills.

Combining her professional and personal passions, Jamie organizes and contributes to annual charitable events, i.e., Epic cut-a-thons, Pediatric Aids, and more. She has raised money and donated services to a variety of foster group homes for girls, pet adoptions, wheels for humanity and local schools. A true believer in creating a business that reflects an extension of her home and family life, Jamie is highly involved in making her interactions at work, home and during her leisure time meaningful and gratifying. Jamie is highly involved in ongoing business education and is honored to be among the first graduating class of UCLA Anderson Business School’s Executive Salon Management Program.
